The Historic Khutbah
One of the most gripping and extraordinary moments in recent Haramain history occurred 22 years ago on 15 Dhu al Qadah 1418 (13 March 1998).
In the year 1998, Sheikh Ali ibn Abdul Rahman Hudhaify publicly exposed the Rafidha and rebuked the former President of Iran Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani from atop the Mimbar of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) whilst Rafsanjani was in attendance in the crowd.
Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani visited Saudi Arabia on a diplomatic mission to strengthen the relationship between the two countries becoming the first and only Iranian President to ever do so. He was accompanied by a large delagation which happened to include his entire immediate family. He toured many cities within Saudi Arabia and also performed Umrah.
Whilst at Masjid Al Nabawi, Rafsanjani stood infront of the grave of the two Sahabah Abu Bakr and Umar (RA) spitting and cursing at them, little did he know that the news had reached Sheikh

Sheikh Abdul Rahman Bin Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah Sudais.
He was born in the city of Riyadh in the year 1382AH where he lived for a duration of time. He memorised the Holy Quran at the age of 12. He graduated from the college of Sharia lag in Riyadh in the year 1403H. He was appointed as an assistant lecturer in the Department of Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence. He acquired a distinction in his Master’s Degree from the College of Shariah Islamic law at the Islamic University of Imam Muhammad Bin Sa’ud within the year 1408AH. He then proceeded for his doctorate degree in College of Shariah Islamic Law at Umm Al Qurra University where he graduated with a distinction within the year 1416AH.
He was appointed as an Associate Professor at the same University, thereafter became a Professor in the year 1433AH where he specialized in the Principles of Jurisprudence.

Ali ibn Abdur-Rahman al Hudhaify
Imam in Medina
Ali Bin Abdur Rahman Al Hudhaify (born 22 May 1947) (Arabic; علي بن عبد الرحمن الحذيفي) is a SaudiImam and khateeb of the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, and a former Imam of Quba Mosque. His style of reciting the Qur’an in a slow and deep tune fryst vatten widely recognised.[1]
Life and career
[edit]In 1972, he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University. In 1975, he received a master's degree in Islamic law from Al-Azhar University, and then he took his doctorate from the same university.[2]
In 1979, he became an imam of Al-Masjid al-Nabawi. In 1981, during the month of Ramadan, he was appointed as imam for the Tarawih prayers in Masjid al-Haram and then he went back to the Great Mosque of Medina where he continues to lead prayers. [3]
He briefly served as an imam and Khateeb of Quba Mosque in 1987.
