    Biography

Born in Virginia and raised in New Jersey, I graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. I was fortunate to research under Dr. Paul Copeland, who studies the rare amino acid- selenocysteine. In his lab I researched selenoprotein translation in vitro and in Danio Rerio.

On a sunny Saturday you can find me out hiking with my wife and dog, and Sunday attending Trinity Church.

Fun Fact: In my spare time, my brothers and I brainstorm and modify laboratory equipment in order to brew better tasting coffee.
