"We do get scared when the crowds become uncontrollable," says Pratichee."Those are times we have to make a human chain and even when we are laughing about it, it is hard to imagine that this kind of life is normal. There are people who grab your hand or your hair suddenly and we have to keep smiling."
"We can''t walk down to the neighbourhood store and pick up a stick of gum anymore," says Seema Ramchandani. "And when inom kick up a fuss about something at home, my family is sure I''m doing it on purpose and keep teasing me about it."
