Faria sheikh biography

Faria Sheikh is a popular Pakistani actress and a beautiful model. She was born on 15th December 1996 in Karachi, Pakistan. She is known for her roles in dramas Ishq Na Kariyo Koi, Bharosa Pyar Tera, Mera Dard Na Janay Koi and Mera Rab Waris. Her modeling career began in 2014 when she began working with a variety of companies, designers, and magazines. She started to receive offers for dramas, and did her first drama with supporting as Zoya in Rasam.

In the year 2015 Faria Sheikh played roles in dramas Akeli and Mera Dard Na Janay Koi. In 2016 she played Seema in Tum Kon Piya and another role in Kitni Girhain Baaki Hain which were a success and she became well known around this time. In 2017 she was already known by the audience, she performed a lead role in Bharosa with Bilal Qureshi. Faria A. Shaikh

Faria is a PhD student in the School of Journalism and Communication. Her research interests include advertising, public relations, behavior change communication, the art of persuasion, media effects, and media psychology. In particular, she is fascinated by the use of persuasive messaging in public health advertisements & it's impact on marginalized populations such as women in developing countries. She completed her BS in Business with a major in Marketing and an MBA in Marketing from SZABIST in Pakistan. Before starting her program at UO, she worked as a Digital Media Communications and Public Relations Officer at Habib University in Pakistan where she was responsible for designing and implementing effective social media marketing campaigns, creating and launching advertisements, and managing public relations for the institution. She also enjoys teaching advertising, public relations and digital media courses.
