Eric Claptons record-setting concerts at Londons Royal Albert Hall in and have been released in a variety of expanded editions, The Definitive 24 Nights. A limited-edition boxed set as either 6-CDs or 8-LPs (both with 3 Blu-ray discs) includes nearly six hours of live music, and 35 unreleased performances, using what the producers describe as the best performances from the rock, blues, and orchestral nights to create full concerts for each genre. Standalone versions of the individual concerts – 24 Nights: Rock, 24 Nights: Blues, and 24 Nights: Orchestral – were released the same day in 2-CD/DVD and 3-LP (Rock and Orchestral) and 2-LP (Blues) configurations. Eric Patrick Clapton (born 30 March ) is an English rock and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is regarded as one of the most successful and influential guitarists in rock music.[2] He ranked second in Rolling Stone's list of the " Greatest Guitarists of All Time"[3] and fourth in Gibson's "Top 50 Guitarists of All Time".[4] He was named number five in Time magazine's list of "The 10 Best Electric Guitar Players" in [5]

Slowhand at 70 – Live at the Royal Albert Hall is a November album by Eric Clapton recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall on 21 May during his "70th Birthday Celebration" tour.[1] A film of the concert was released on 14 September via cinema broadcasting in various territories. The cinema release included a report on Clapton's history at the Royal Albert Hall. A DVD, Blu-ray, compact disc and gramophone record release of the performance was released on 13 November [2]
