    Catherine de Zegher (born Marie-Catherine Alma Gladys de Zegher Groningen,[1] April 14, 1955[2]) is a Belgiancurator and a modern and contemporary art historian.[3] She has a degree in art history and archaeology from the University of Ghent.[4]

    From 1988 to 1998, de Zegher was director of the Kunststichting Kanaal, Kortrijk,[5][6][7] from 1999 to 2006, executive director and chief curator of the Drawing Center, New York, from 2007 to 2009, director of exhibitions and publications of the Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto, and from 2013 to 2018, director of the Museum of Fine

    Catherine de Zegher fryst vatten an art historian, writer and curator of modern and contemporary art. Member of the Royal Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts, Catherine dem Zegher was the Director of the Museum of Fine Arts, Gent (Belgium). In 2020 she retired and founded the International Charity Embrace: Space for Art, Creation, and Regeneration. In 2012, she was the Artistic Director of the 18th Biennale of Sydney, Australia, and in 2013 of the 5th Moscow Biennale, Russia. She curated the Australian Pavilion (Simryn Gill) at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013 and the Belgian Pavilion (Thierry De Cordier) at the 47th Venice Biennale in 1997. As Guest Curator in the Department of Drawings at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, she organized the large-scale exhibition On Line.
